director's bio

Hannah Sperling is a junior at NYU, studying Film and TV with a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology. Growing up in Los Angeles, Hannah developed an early love of filmmaking from the videos she created with her younger siblings. As she grew older, she witnessed the pressures girls face regarding their bodies and their sexuality. These struggles have inspired her storytelling.

"When I was in middle school, I encountered a similar situation. At the time, I didn't fully grasp how wrong it was, and I let people around me act as if it were acceptable. As I matured, I understood the harm it caused. I hope this film gives girls the courage to speak up and recognize the wrong.​​​​​"
